Sidekicker Debuts At Leading Events Expo, AIME

We spent an incredible few days in the mecca of the events industry last week after having a very successful exhibitor debut at AIME here in Melbourne.

We were excited to have the Sidekicker brand represented alongside A-grade players including Crown Hotels, Eventbrite, A1 and Qantas and representatives from all over the world including Japan, Thailand and New Zealand!

The Asia-Pacific Incentives and Meeting Expo is the largest international business exhibition in Australia where the meetings, events and incentives industry decision makers meet over two days to network and explore new supplier opportunities.

The event attracts thousands of visitors; including event planners, professional conference organisers, hotels and corporate businesses.

After a lot of preparation in the lead up to the expo and a massive day bumping in our stand (with the help of some of our own Sidekicks) we were thrilled when everything kicked off smoothly on day one of the event.

Above is a snapshot of the Sidekicker stand at AIME 2016 with Helen, Steph and Megan from the Sidekicker Head Office and two amazing Sidekicks Alice and Guy assisting to get the Sidekicker brand throughout the show.

With the best exhibitors in the business we had to stand out from the crowd and what better way to do so than by smoothies mixed on a bike! With the help of our excellent client BikenBlend we had Sidekicks and visitors alike mixing smoothies for the crowds.

We spoke with hundreds of people who were impressed by our technology and loved that we were changing the way businesses hire and manage temporary staff. The overwhelming feedback was that the industry was in need of a new solution to event and hospitality staffing.

Overall the event was a huge success and verified Sidekicker’s place in the events and conferences industry.

After two great days, we were blown away when we were presented with an award for Best New Exhibitor Stand as judged by the AIME organisation board and the amazing team at Reed Exhibitions Travel.

It was a massive two days for everyone involved and we loved every minute of our time at AIME. We can’t wait to get back next year!
