Online staffing platform Sidekicker launches in Wellington

SEEK backed staffing platform Sidekicker is expanding their New Zealand footprint, with demand from clients driving a push into Wellington.
The Wellington office will be Sidekicker’s second New Zealand location. The tech-based startup launched Auckland in 2015, with early clients including Spark Arena, Uber and AUT cementing them as a disruptive force in New Zealand’s labour industry.

Sidekicker is launching in Wellington with strong demand for hospitality, event, and promotional staff, with plans to expand their offering to include business support and warehousing staff in the coming months.

Businesses can make a request for staff online 24/7 and are instantly matched with qualified staff. They are able to hand-select the best staff for their needs using transparent staff profiles which include transparent ratings and reviews from jobs they’ve completed on the platform.
Sidekicker is free to sign up and free to make a request for staff. A small service fee is applied once Sidekicks have completed a shift.
